i am currently trying to get this, but i have to upgrade to a intel macpro which sucks. my friend does have it though and it is indeed an amazing upgrade, but you do lose a progrom from final cut studio 2, so be aware of that and be aware that you need a intel processor to run this program because itll suck big time if you go and spend 1 grand on this software and cant do anythign with it.

just back that file up before you install fcs3 and youll be good. im still not sure why apple deleted this off the update. maybe its content is somewhere in final cut 7 itself?

forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=755629just a quick heads up, it seems you can run fcs3 on ppc's now? youll need to do quite a bit of work to make it happen, but its better than spending 4 grand for a new intel pro.
