I am very interested in your school.
Are you going to be teaching with film? If so will it be 16mm or 35? Double system or single system sound?
What do you use to edit? AVID, FCP, VEGAS, Premeire Pro, Steenbeck?
How old do I have to be to enroll?

No we teach digital film. The film days are coming to an end with new cameras like the red, which we will be teaching soon. We edit in Final Cut, and are looking to also get avid on soon. We accept any age. And offer private classes. If interested please go to our enroll page. Thanks

So you are film school that doesn't teach film... hmmm.
BTW the red still has nowhere near the capabilities of 35mm.... and most major film and television production is still shot on film, 35mm and even IMAX and 16mm

And that's your opinion sir. You can still teach film with digital film, and seeing how the future will be digital, it all works. By the way Have you seen Wanted or Jumper they had red shots in it, and I couldn't tell the difference. Also Red Ranch is coming to Vegas there building a 80 acre back lot, so at least I know there's a market in it.

Digital is not film. It doesn't work the same, doesn't have the same contrast range, the same color spectrum, the same resolution. MOst Hollywood features and television shows are still using FILM. "Dark Knight" used IMAX extensively, with a frame size 4 times as large as 35 mm... and they made every effort to use practical effects instead of digital effects. There is currently a backlash against digital production and post.
With digital video changing formats every 2 years, even manufacturers of digital equipment will tell you that if you want to make sure your "film" is around in 15 years, even if you shoot digitally, you should output on FILM.
