It's all about the MAC. I would never use a pc to do my editing, it's jut going to crash.

I just "graduated" from a Mac to a PC last year and wow what a difference. Yeah, a Mac isn't a perfect computer, I don't think there is such thing. But it is soooo much better than my PC. It practically never freezes; if it does it is rare and I just reboot and it's like nothing happened. Connecting to Wifi is never a problem, when PC can be a lot of freaking troubleshooting. And viruses? Nonexistent. Macs last longer...don't ever feel a need to buy a new mac every 2 years, when the thing seems to go slower and slower every day. And of course, Final Cut Pro is on there! Premiere Elements is good, and can get the job done just as well, but it's not industry standard. Might as well use your money towards Final anyway.
I was always reluctant to get a mac because it was so different, and I seemed lost whenever I got on one. But they've made the OS so similar to PC that it's hardly a painful of a transition to get used to
But yeah, hands down agree.

looking at my user name its obvious that im pro mac, as far as editing with final cut theres really nothing on the pc side that compares. the 1000 dollare software pretty much competes with thousands of dollar software and hardware for a pc. if you are on a budget with a movie, then hands down final cut should be your post production option of choice. now with fc3 out, it pretty much owns them all. even the 50 grand sony suite

I so agree with you guys. see I can talk about this because I own a pc, and a mac, and have worked with both. And I always have trouble with PC's. Not saying Macs are perfect, but I just thing they rock.
